Blogidays- My Imperfections Tag!

Hello!

Christmas is over!  I am also starting to experience Post-December Depression, because December is FLYING!

Today, I want to do a tag that I have thought about doing for awhile now. The Perfect Imperfections tag. I watch alot of these on Youtube, and I find them really interesting. For one thing, they really humanize people we look up to as "perfect". It is also interesting to see things that people see in themselves as imperfections, because while they're worried about them, most people don't even notice!

So, in this tag, you are supposed to mention 3 things you like about yourself/body, and 3 you're not so fond of.  I think I will start with the negatives:

1. I have a tooth that is slightly behind another. Up close, it is hardly noticeable, but I have had photos where it appears as though I am missing a tooth! It makes me really self conscious to smile and have photos taken.

2. My legs. I surely don't have the worst legs in the world, but my body isn't totally proportional. I am 5'5", so I am not too short, but my torso is abnormally long, and my legs are quite short. Fun fact, I was once told that my leg length is the same as people in the 4'11"- 5'1" height range! Aside from being too short, I think they are too thick. When I was younger, I wanted desperately to be thin, and exercised non-stop. As a result, my legs got really really musclular . I guess I would like to have longer, slimmer legs.

3. This isn't a physical thing, but I can't stand my over sensitivity! I am a very extremely sensitive person. I take almost everything to heart, and I get my feelings hurt very easily. I find it quite annoying as it interferes with my relationships with others and my daily life.

So, good things for last, here are my 3 that I rather enjoy about myself! :

1. I have very full, long, dark, eyelashes! I have never needed fakes, and most mascaras work well for me!

2. I have a very feminine body. I have pretty wide hips, but proportional breasts and a very slim waist. I feel like Betty Boop sometimes :p

3. Another personality trait, but my over sensitivity is positive sometimes. Because I am so hyper sensitive to  what goes on around me, I am very empathetic, and very caring. I put my absolute heart into everything I do, and can easily put myself in someone else's shoes. I feel the emotions of others, and I feel like this makes me a great listener. Because my emotions are very extreme, when I feel positive emotions, I experience them at a much greater level! :)

I would love to see your Perfect Imperfections tags! I tag every single person who comes across this post. Leave a response below, or a link to your blog if you make a post!

13 Questions Tag! *Tag Week!*

Happy Tuesday!

First off, sorry for being MIA yesterday, I had a lot to do, but I will make it up with a double post this week, promise!

I wanted to kick off Tag Week with the 13 Questions Tag, so here it is! Leave me your answers below!!

1. What do you order at Starbucks?
A Cinnamon Dolce Latte
2. What's one thing in your closet that
you cannot live without?
My plain black v-neck tee, i wear it with so much!
3. What's one thing that most people probably
wouldn't know about you?
I speak fluent German, or I am fairly good at drawing
4. Name one thing that you want to do before you
die:
Fly first class
5. What's one food that you cannot live without?
TOMATOES. I eat lots of them daily, and grow my own in our garden!
6. What quote/phrase
do you live your life by?

Everthing happens for a reason! I've always really believed that.
7. What do you like and dislike about the YT /blogging
community?
I like that I can have fun and share my passion for beauty, and I dislike that there is so much negativity. While I haven't personally experienced the negative comments, etc., I see them on other gurus blogs and channels, and it bothers me. We should all support each other!

8. What's your number one most listened to song on iTunes?
"Mirror" by Lil Wayne has been my song the past week.

 9. What kind of style would you define yourself as having?
I am extremely girly, so girly and romantic.
10. Favorite number?
I don't one, but I will pick 7!

11. Two hobbies?
Blogging and baking.

12. Two pet peeves?
When people are selfish. I really like to share, and I have always been considerate of others. It drives me nuts when others only consider themselves. The world is so much bigger than one person. My other pet peeve is messes! I clean everyday, and deep clean more than I would like to admit. I need order and sanitation in my life :)

13. Guilty Pleasure?
Youtube. I spend a lot of time looking at beauty videos. What can I say, I'm obsessed! ;) I also like Pick Ups (german food) I actually ate three today :/
I tag Forever Fushia to do this tag!

My Beauty Profile

Hello Dolls,

I have watching/posting a lot of review recently, and many people (including myself) share a common problem: when saying you don't care for a product or wouldn't re-purchase it, it  seems like you have to make a long disclaimer so you don't slam the product. For example: say I purchase a foundation, and it shows alot of dry patching on my skin, and I just don't really care for it. When it is on a "products I regret buying" post, people who may have an entirely different skin type than myself take these things to heart. Maybe it will discourage people from buying a product, or maybe someone who uses the product and loves it will see the post and start accusing me of "defaming" their favorite brand, etc. So I thought of an idea. Today I am doing a "beauty profile" post. This is basically going to be a breif beauty bio explaining my personal skin type, etc. so people have something to refer to when making desicions about products I review. I want to mention that I will absolutely continue to review products 100% honestly, and will be upfront when I do not like a product. Here you go! :)

Beauty Bio:

Name: Amanda:)
Age: 20
Country:Germany (I am an American, though!)

Skin Type: combination skin with an oily t-zone, and dry patching in some spots
Skin Tone: Very fair, I always need the lightest foundations available! I have cool undertones.

Eyelids: Mine are hooded!
Eyelashes: Very long, and dark. Decently full, but I always look for volumizing mascaras.

Hair Color: Dark Brown
Length: Long
Thickness: Medium, very healthy
Style: A few long layers, and side swept bangs. Needs a little help holding a curl in humid weather, and needs a little help with volume,

That is all I can think of at the moment. I would like to see more gurus do these and then link them in review posts. That way, if someone hates a foundation I was interested in trying, I can see if we have similar skin types, etc. I think these would be really helpful. Please tag your favorite gurus, and let's see if we can get more of these going around in the beauty community. I would like to tag Kristy Hank from Just Another Day to do a Beauty Bio!

Do you think these would be helpful?

10 Drugstore Beauty Products under $10

Hey Beauties!
Today I wanted to do a Tag Post, and I chose 10 Drugstore Beauty Products Under $10 tag! I think it is great for gurus to expose fabulous, affordable products. Not every girl can afford "Luxury" brands, and I think it's awesome to showcase beauty for EVERY price range!

1. Maybelline's Falsies Mascara. My all-time fave mascara. It beats every other brand I have ever used! This retails around $5! Affordable and Fabulous!

2. Rimmel London's Moisture Renew Lipstick. I have also reviewed this lipstick, but it is very hydrating, and long lasting! I paid $5.49 at Target.

3. EOS lipbalm. Other than the cute packaging (I know, i'm such a sucker!), this lipbalm is very hydrating, and keeps the lips soft for hours! I believe I paid about $3.

4. Rimmel London Pencil Liners. These liners apply wonderfully and are long lasting. Vast color selection as well. My  current favorite is their color Panama. A beautiful dark brown, I use it so often!

5. E.L.F blotting sheets. Blotting sheets are an essential, but they can be pricey! E.l.f. is only $1, and gets the job done!

6. Loreal's True Match Foundation. This foundation is very comparable with higher-end brands. The color selection is amazing, and you're sure to find a perfect match! at $8, this is almost too good to be true.

7. Pond's Dry Skin Cream. My favorite drug-store moisturizer. It is so hydrating! It will not clog your pores, and will surely solve your dry skin problems. The best bonus is that you get a TON of product at a great price! A big tub is around $5.

8. Rimmel London's Stay Matte Powder. This powder is perfect for mattifying the skin for hours. I use it to set my makeup, and I don't have to reapply for about 5 hours or so! It costs about $3.50.

9. Maybelline's Great Lash Mascara. This was my very first beauty product ever! For as long as I can remember, my mom and grandmother have always used this. Although it really isn't my favorite, it is good for beginners with makeup with a smaller budget. It goes for around $4.

10. Neutrogena's Nourishing Eye quads. These eyeshadows are beautiful and long lasting. The formula is really silky as well. These quads are around $ 8.50

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I will start doing tags more often, they're fun! What are your 10 favorite beauty products under $10 sold at drugstores? Let me know!!!
